Three years ago Central Oregon recorded one of the highest snowfalls in over 100 years, and I was wishing for a different color palette than white on white. Well, be careful what you wish for. Today Mt. Bachelor announced yet another opening delay because there’s no snow. Please, Lord, bring it on!

These studies showed that DASH lowers high blood pressure and improves levels of blood lipids (fats in the bloodstream), which reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

Good Food Great Medicine : Another well valued site is http://www.goodfoodgreatmedicine.com/ . While this is a commercial site, it has been recommended by a few of our local physicians for patients. The cookbook "Good Food Great Medicine" is available to order OR there is a newsletter to receive by email. While the cook book has many good 'whole food' recipes, the health information has been extensively revised and updated; also adding current references.
