Dawn RN, BS, Parish Nurse available for Prayer and Resource Information. Email me at the email link above with any questions or concerns. Thank you
I want to emphasize that with any and all health information found here or anywhere; please, check with your Physician before making changes to your specific Health Plan! Thank you for the privilege of your visit!
From the seminar I attended in April with Dr. Matthew Brodsky from OHSU-Movement Disorder Specialist, the most important NEW finding in PD is that serious physical therapy with a trained PT is one of the most valuable resources that a PD patient can give themselves - Do not hesitate to find a trained PT that is willing to support, encourage and uphold your body! Please, Do this before there are any mobility issues!!! (check back, I hope to add local trained PT soon)

About Parkinson's Disease (PD)
Affecting an estimated one million Americans and four to six million worldwide, Parkinson's is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and is the 14th leading cause of death in the United States. It is associated with a progressive loss of motor control (e.g., shaking or tremor at rest and lack of facial expression) as well as non-motor symptoms (e.g., depression and anxiety). There is no cure for PD and 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the United States alone.

Photograph taken from the top of Chulu Far East 6,059 meter and in the background peak you see from left Chulu East 6,584 meter, Chulu West 6,419 meter. Chulu Far East Expedition 2020 PremRai Thank you so much for Doing the Impossible for So Many! YOU are appreciated!
First climb of Chulu Far East was in 1955 by a German climber. It is located in the north of Ngawal and Manang. To the crampon point (5,400m) of this peak is 275 km far from Kathmandu. I was told it’s easy to climb, but No! This is moderate range of tough peak to climb. Frederik said, it’s harder than Island peak and Mera peak he had done already. premsnepaltrek.com facebook.com/prem.rai2
